I get a LOT of generic "we can help your company with IT solutions" type emails. If you're sending an earnest request for me to consider your services, and not a generic form letter, put something in the email about how you read this. Maybe something like, "I dig your hair." Compliments always go over well. I promise to respond if you compliment my hair.
